RESTORED TV Series Features Historic Preservation on the DIY Channel

Historic preservation is the focus of a great new hour-long series on the DIY network, called RESTORED. Filmed mostly in the Inland Empire with lots of homes from the rich architectural fabric of Riverside and Redlands, the network kicked off Season One on January 11th, 2017 with shows every Wednesday evening at 10pm/9pm central and 7pm on local DIY Network channels. The show includes not only project houses but also inspiration houses, and highlights appropriate restoration methods and materials within the constraints of modern living and also featuers Historian/Architctural Historan Jennifer Mermilliod, who not only consulted with the production team on the history and architectural character of the project houses, but also filmed at several locations, as well as other professionals in the field of historic preservaiton. Reruns will also air on HGTV, and iTunes offers selected episodes. Be sure to cath this trending new series!
